Prep Time 10 minutes

  • 1.2 kg hen
  • 4-5 scotch bonnet pepper
  • 1 yellow habanero
  • ½ small onion
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp crushed hen bullion dice
  • 1 tbsp pepper soup spice
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp Cameroon pepper
  • 3 cups water
  • ½ additional peppersoup spice
  • basil leaves or scent leaf
  • Rinse up the hen completely, switch to a medium cooking pot.
  • Mix the peppers and onion. Mix coarse.
  • Add blended peppers, salt, crushed bullion dice, pepper soup spice and garlic powder to the soup and stir. Allow hen steam on medium low heat for about Quarter-hour.
  • After Quarter-hour, add in water and the additional pepper soup spice, cook once more and allow to cook for an extra 10-Quarter-hour or till hen is well cooked.
  • Add in chopped basil or scent leaf, and other seasoning in accordance to desire. Allow to simmer for about 5 minutes. Serve hot
